Home for the Elderly

Today, we started conducting a documentary for our Mass Media subject. It was great because we chose St. Joseph's Golden Home Foundation, a home for the elderly that was abandoned by their loved ones. I was really amazed of how the staffs and nuns treated these elders. And I was observing them all; the way they communicate with other people that are coming into their home and of how they interact with their co-elders and with us as well. I've known Nanay Sol, one of our character in this documentation; she loves seeing people that smiles always and she also wanted to receive a gift as simple as FITA; yes, Fita Biscuit. That is her only wish and only want, aside from going back home to Agusan, which is her true home. Nanay Mertha, a blind elder who is very moody. At times, she is irritable and mood swings to being lively. I was trippin' on her because she is so amazing when she gets mad and more amazing when she is in a good mood. Nanay Mertha even sang Maalaala Mo Kaya and we even recorded it. And Nanay Abeth told me that their daily routine is just eating, sleeping, attending mass in their chapel and praying during Angelus. The sad thing that she told me is that she was already abandoned by her daughter; which also makes her feel sad, but at least she is already contented of her life inside St. Joseph. Everything went well. It was fun meeting them all. Kudos, mates!

PARAMORE!!!

The news made my day so shit!!! :( Seriously? Paramore will be back in Manila for the second time around. DAMN! And I cannot watch it for sure. The plane ticket is not that cheap, you know. The concert ticket would cost too much also. *huhuhuhu!*

Two. Zero. One. Two.

2012.

I had so much in this year. Experienced heartaches, failures, got admitted in the hospital during New Year and etc. Still, I had a wonderful and prosperous 2012.

Okay, I am gonna mention the things that made my year a YEAR. *hahaha!*

Lovelife. This is somehow very annoying, because I have been sharing this to everyone that I got hurt and my Ex left me hanging. This is the most painful experience I have ever had. I was a little bit crazy during those moments, I never wanted a break-up. Seriously. But, this experience made me a true woman; it made me strong. Yea, at first I was blaming myself because I was thinking that it is my fault, but later on I realized that everything happens for a reason. And it really happens. I learned that love is not just always for happy-happy-happy-thingy, but also for sacrifices and letting go. As what the cliche goes, "If you love the person, you should learn to set him/her free." And I just did it. I thank God for giving me the opportunity in getting away of this person, and I know God has a bigger plan for me. AJA!

Friends. I am so blessed that I have so many amazing friends. I know God loves me so much, and he is just giving me the best of friends that I could ever have. I cannot mention them all *inana jud kadaghan, haha!* because I might forget some of them. I would just like to thank them all for being part of my 2012, and for understanding my freakin' and best attitude. I wanna let them know that they fill the emptiness of my life. *hugs&kisses*

Family. Of course! Who wouldn't be so glad of having a perfect family, right? I am so lucky for having a complete family. I always thank my parents for raising me so nicely *yea! I know right! hahaha* they taught me so many things that I  couldn't barely mention it all. I am just so happy that I was able to go to school everyday with their support and love. Without my parents I wouldn't be meeting those people above; the one who gave pain and my funky friends. *love, love, LOVE!*

Happy 2013 people!!!

A Merry Little Christmas

It's been a long time since I haven't posted here on my blog. I was quite busy in school and in some stuffs; projects, assignments, research and a lot more. There are lot of things to accomplish back then. And I don't seriously go online during those moments, it is just that I already have an access to the internet now; I can browse anytime I want, although at times the connection is so slow. But, at least. At least.

So... what's up? How's your Christmas? Did you spend it with someone? or did you spend it somewhere out of town?

Well, my Christmas was so perfect. I celebrated it with my family and relatives; maternal side. We went to Iligan City; since my mama's family is residing there and since my grandparents was also there. (If given the chance to choose, I would want to celebrate it in Lopez Jaena, Ozamiz City!) So, we had a little merry Christmas. Foods are everywhere, although we don't have this "Lechon" thingy, but still we had lots of foods to partake. Chocolate cakes, fruit salad, spaghetti, and different viands. My parents, uncles and aunts prepared it all. It was merry, because our Nanay and Tatay were able to celebrate it with us. And we are also glad that my Tatay is already out in the hospital. He was admitted for about 4 days in Mindanao Sanitarium College and Hospital, that is situated near MSU-IIT. This hospital is known I guess, because IIT nursing students study here. And I should say, the hospital is kind a awesome; it is an Adventist church. They are only serving foods that is related with their religion, which is Seventh Day Adventist; they are more of vegetables. And yes, my grandpa was admitted due to low hemoglobin; yeah. Anemic, just like me. So, he had this blood transfusion, it cost us too much. One Thousand pesos per bag of blood. And luckily, the doctor only asked 2 bags of blood. (yeah! that is lucky, at least lesser payment) I think he is trying to be okay now. Since, he already had an operation before for his prostate cancer. Everything is working well. He is doing fine, and we are all happy seeing him on Christmas.

Kids and people everywhere! hahahaha

Fooooooods!!!

I really enjoyed my Christmas. And my family completed it. It was great. I am looking forward for a better 2013.

Advance Happy New Year, Bloggers! :)

21st

October 16, 2012. It was the best birthday ever; I consider it as best because it was my first time to celebrate with my friends. I received lots of greetings from my numerous friends; through Facebook, text messaging and phone calls. I am very glad that many of them remembered my day. I also thank my Dad for waking me up while singing "Happy Birthday", and for kissing my left cheek. Thank you for giving me the chance to celebrate with my friends, although they were not complete. I missed celebrating with my bestfriends back in highschool; Ingrid, Loren, Kharen and Sweet. Thank you Winna for accompanying me in Mcdo, I had a great time eating lunch with you. And to the ones whom I invited at Dear Manok for a simple dinner, thank you; Kent, Amor, Jerson, Rey-ann, ate Judith and Cassandra.

Thank you, Lord!
Thank you, everyone! :)

SMILE :)

I smile, because I wanna inspire lots of people.
I smile, not for the camera but for myself.
I smile, not just for Facebook but for those people who hates me.
I smile, to hide all the pains in life.
And, yeah, I smile for my loved ones.
I smile.You smile.
