Kagay-anons celebrates Kagay-an Festival 2012

Hello Kagay-anons!
Happy Fiesta!!! :)

The fiesta is so perfect. Although, I wasn't able to witness some of the events. But still I enjoyed some of it. Like witnessing the PyroFestival at Sm City. The fireworks were so great and amazing. The competitors really made an effort just to win the said competition. Seriously, it will never be cool if you won't work hard for it.

Congratulations to the newly crowned Miss Kagay-an 2012. Everyone deserves to be on stage and show the people that they are confident enough to ramp, answer, and just be who they are. I am kinda disappointed because I wasn't able to witness it; but I am also flattered that some of the winners are from my beloved school, Mindanao University of Science and Technology (MUST). Miss Tourism 2012, Lovely Estampa, 1st runner-up, Emie Lou Yamba and Roxinne Monterde grabbed the award as Best in Talent. Roxinne, is still studying under the CIIT. Lovely, she just graduated under the course of Technology Communication Management (BSTCM), and Emie Lou, is currently working as a professional model in Cagayan de Oro City; they are known as the Glitterati.

taaadaaaa!!! This is the schedule of activities. HAHAHAHA! :D

This year is considered as the best Kagay-an Festival. It is as if that people forgot of the tragic event that happened here in the City - Sendong. They prayed for those people who got lost in the flood and some left flowers in the Kagay-an river with the Kagay-an rafters, who helped during the search & rescue operation before. The fiesta is such a great help in forgetting tragic events.

It is more fun in Cagayan de Oro City. Happy Fiesta!
